Guarantee That Your Article Gets Accepted

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

There are hundreds if not thousands of article directories on the web today. Just submitting your article to article directory sites does not guarantee that your article is going to be accepted. Many article websites have acceptance requirements that are reasonably non-specific in nature. Nearly all of the bigger, more well-liked sites, are harsh about what gets printed and what gets rejected.

If you would like to make sure that more of your articles are accepted by online article directories you have to make sure your article meets the publisher’s standards. As an owner and publisher of article sites for years, I’m dazzled at how many writers don’t bother to read thru submission requirements. Many article directories will accept any article submitted, particularly if it is a less established article site, as a way to build up their article database. Nonetheless article sites that are more established with higher Alexa and Google rankings, have a tendency to be more picky in what’s posted in their directory.

The most common mistakes writers make in submitting their article include:

1. MS Word formatting; Copy and pasting from a Microsoft document does horrible things to a page design and layout. More times than not this sort of formatting can appear in the text of the content and can also wreak havoc on online forms.

2. E-mail links in articles or resource boxes. Though many editors aren’t involved with e-mails in articles or in a resource box, writers must be aware of the issues that may arise from utilizing them. Article directory websites are constantly being scanned by not only search websites but by mail harvester and automated bots also. Listing your e-mail in any online article opens the writer up to receive an overwhelming quantity of spam and is usually not a smart idea. Emails also change every now and then, leaving you with doubtless thousands of articles on the web with an e-mail address that no longer exists.

3. Word count is low. Not all directories put word count limitations on articles. Personally, any article that’s less than 400 words is just created in order to get a link back to the writer’s site. Articles that range between 600 to 800 words are sometimes better written and basically contain some price for the reader. Confirm your article meets the word count guidelines to help increase publishing rates. Each article webpage has different rules for article submissions.

If your goal is to increase the exposure you get for your articles, make sure you are familiar with the prerequisites for each article site that you submit articles to. By following these author laws, you not only increase your odds of having your content printed, you also set yourself up as a convincing writer and increase your site traffic additionally.

Generate More Revenue By Publishing E-books

Monday, September 20th, 2010

If you want to make some extra money, you should consider going into e-book publishing. This particular field is becoming pretty lucrative pretty fast; people are serious about it have even been able to quit their day jobs and make all their money online. It is relatively simple and people from all walks of life have the opportunity to supplement their income by opening their own e-book publishing company.

Here are a couple of quick tips that, if you follow them, might make you rich.

1. Find out what’s popular and sell that. In the e-book publishing business, success can be found by finding out what people are interested in buying and offering that.

It may seem obvious, but many people don’t do this. They don’t give people what they want and inevitably end up with a failing business.

2. Be very liberal with your refund policy. Some people aren’t that comfortable with e-books; if they think they can get their money back, then they are more likely to not buy your product.

Give your customers the peace of mind that, no matter what, they will always be able to get a refund. A good refund policy can make all the difference when someone is deciding whether or not to make a purchase.

The vast majority of people are honest, and most will not take advantage of your policy. You will suffer some losses, but for every refund you give up, there are probably three or four people who only bought your book because they were comforted by your liberal refund policy.

So, to sum it all up, sell what’s popular and offer refunds. Add this to a good marketing campaign and you are well on your way to becoming a great e-book publisher.

A Good Way To Begin In Writing

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

So, you want to be a writer, do you? Well, it doesn’t take a genius, but it does take a little bit of hard work and patience, whether you want to write a novel, short stories or even a simple training manual.

Most people these days kick off their career by putting out an e-book. Simply pick a topic that you know and brainstorm how you can save your readers time, money and headaches by revealing the tricks and tips that you have learned through trial-and-error.

There are a couple of different ways to publish an e-book. Either in PDF format or as an easily downloadable .exe-file. Although there are no hard-and-fast rules in terms of page counts, it is a hassle to print out an ebook, particularly a long one.

Customers love to get their books right away, and that’s led to many authors’ successes. If you want to be an e-book author, though, you need a place to sell your ebook. If you want to be a successful ebook writer, you must have a web site.

E-books are easy to find, easy to download and easy to update. When you create an ebook, you must use software with security features that prevent buyers from sharing your book across the net.

Of course, if your dream is to put out a “real” book, you can still do that the old-fashioned way. You will need to consider the best or most optimal location for you to write. It might be your kitchen table, or the local coffee shop, or a home office.

Getting a book on the sale shelves is also a great way to bring in business. Be sure to get an ISBN number, which you need to sell your work commercially.

Whatever it is you want to do, there is no better time to get something written and get it published. It really costs almost nothing and the rewards are almost endless.

An Article About The Severity Of Plagiarism And The Ways On How You Can Capably Avoid It

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

Basically, plagiarism means replicating someone else’ work without giving them due credit. It is a grave offence that can even lead to eviction in many academic institutions.

Plagiarism can either be intentional whereby you consciously plan to go out and copy someone’s work or accidental whereby you utilize somebody’s work without realizing it, but whatever the case might be, plagiarism can end your academic career.

Below are some ways to keep away from plagiarism:

Stating your sources might sound very basic. You can blame it either on unawareness or slothfulness but you will be surprised at the number of students who simply do not refer to their sources.

Often, students are just so relieved to finally complete a paper that they fail to remember to refer to the sources as they are winding up. Furthermore, a student might not be cognizant that he has to mention the source when he makes use of somebody’s work.

It is important for you to take time to carefully go through your paper after you write it down as it is very easy for references from other works to move stealthily into the paper without your notice.

Since there is no differentiating the planned from accidental plagiarism you need to delete any words as soon as you notice them. Even the sentences from the paper that you believe were copied from someplace else either by accident or intentionally.

You should not feel lured to replace even a single letter from the original work if you are contemplating paraphrasing somebody else’s work. You are required to use their exact words in the paper and it would be great if you would always wrap it up in quotes as you mention your sources either at the end or in-line.

It is easy to avoid plagiarism when you are not only familiar with the rules to follow but also revise your paper thoroughly as the consequence for not doing so could be terrible. Always scrutinize your paper carefully before handing it in.

Constructive Marketing Tips Utilizing Printed Material Are Seriously Overdue From Loyalty Publishing Inc

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Two most important and life changing technologies are relatively recent. The Internet is one. The cell phone is the other. Both have transformed communication. Unfortunately, some business people think technologies like these, can replace all existing means of communicating. The really need marketing tips utilizing printed material.

Many people spend “their lives” online. They investigate, they buy, they sell and even “meet” online. If the Internet could communicate directly with their minds, they would hardly need a body at all. That’s obviously an extreme statement. But it does illustrate that we could easily lose track with what a human is. When we use phones or the Internet we are using a very limited number of our senses. Humans need to use them all.

That’s why printed books will never be replaced by ebooks. No matter how good the ereaders become they lack the essence of books. They are missing some vital part of being a book.

In one sense you could say these types of people were never “book lovers”. Book lovers know all about the advantages of ebooks and ereaders. But while they love reading, an integral part of the experience is the physical book.

No such feeling can emanate from an ereader. Even though it may hold the information of as many books as are on those shelves. The point is, it only holds the data. Books are much more than just the data in them – obviously.

That’s why if you were an expert offering marketing advice, those tips would be seriously lacking if they did not include marketing tips utilizing printed material. A business ignores the tangible printed document at its peril. Such documents like those produced by Skyline Publishing will always be in demand. That company produces, for example, exquisite guides on “Relocation” for many US areas. They also produce stunning maps of many cities, as well as stylish business cards. Such information could be available online. But it would not be the same.

DLGuard Review – Secure Sales Software For Starting An Ebook Business

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

The DLGuard shopping cart/checkout application has been helping web-based entrepreneurs for several years to integrate a secure checkout system into their own websites. This DLGuard review focuses on the products use in running the sales administration & digital downloads of an ebook business.

Back in 2008 I was writing ebooks and looking for an independent way of selling ebooks online. From my experience, using the large online sites results in the loss of control over the products marketing and a lost opportunity to capture customer data at the point of sale (essential for cross-selling and mailing lists). So I tried DLGuard.

DLGuard is a set of scripts that provide all the web pages and back-end logic for setting up a shopping cart on your own website. Installation was relatively simple and configuring your inventory of ebooks for download is quickly done.

The application is written with customization in mind so that the pages can be altered to match your site’s web design. If your coding skills are not up to scratch then this can be easily farmed out to a web developer or simply go with the default page design.

DLGuard really begins to shine after a sale is made – especially for automating your ebook business. It automatically emails customers with a link to their purchased ebook that is secure, traceable and unique.

This download link is the critical failure point in ebook publishing as it is essential to keep this link secure to avoid it being shared and your ebooks being downloaded my multiple individuals. What DLGuard provides is the ability to configure the links validity period (how long it stays active/alive) and its maximum download attempts. This curtails the huge bulk of hacks that can occur.

So once the page customization is complete, inventory established and hooks to the cart added to your site there is very little maintenance required with DLGuard. If someone requests a refund then it is a simple task to query the products tracking data and reimburse the customer.

DLGuard is a great shopping cart with all the standard features you could hope for and is certainly perfectly suited for starting an ebook business, large or small. Many users will combine it with selling via a large online ebook retailer to get some extra sales and exposure as the two are not mutually exclusive – rather they should be seen as complementary sales channels.

If you enjoyed this DLGuard product review, then be sure to check out our site for articles on writing ebooks and software and selling them online

Find Out About Loyalty Publishing For Innovative Promotional Materials

Friday, May 28th, 2010

When people move into a new area or visit a town they need information about how to access the services they need. These days many places, small towns, neighborhoods and cities are producing maps and booklets to help newcomers. They are a great resource for the visitor and local businesses. See how Loyalty Publishing, Inc can help you promote your business.

As a promotional item street maps are particularly effective because they not only describe your business but you can include pictures and logos as a visual reminder. They also create a memory of location as your premises will be marked on the map. People look at the maps regularly and carry them in their pockets or bags so that your information will always be with them.

Relocation booklets are designed to give people moving to the area all the information they will need to start life in a new place. They have local history, information about landmarks, services, the local authority and businesses. This is an effective way to advertise because people will be learning about your business at a time when they are most likely to remember it. If for example you put an advert in the paper they may read it but it will be at the same time as many other things and they are less likely to recall it unless they are looking for your service at that particular moment.

These marketing tools are relevant to most types of company. People who have just arrived in a city whether for business, tourism or to live there will need to access many services. City maps are especially effective for taxi companies, car hire, hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, retail outlets, supermarkets, laundry companies and tour companies.

One way of getting something like this started in your area is to work with other businesses to share the costs. There may be local groups you can approach such as retailers associations or the chamber of commerce. If not then you could even start a group. Working together can have a number of benefits for local companies.

Whatever sort of town or area you live in there are many people who would benefit from a local map showing services and businesses. Even residents from the other side of town would find it useful and you can get recognition for your business.

How Much Would You Give To Be Number 1 In Google?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

I was wondering whether you had realized just how much article submission software has improved over recent years? For instance, this article has been written and submitted to thousands of directories, lists and blogs on auto-pilot over a period of a month by the world’s best article management software.

Please don’t miss out on this, it is that important if you need to promote any site on the Internet.

Simply put, there is simply no other traffic generation system that works better, costs less, and is completely immune to search engine changes.

Remember, this is not some fancy new black-hat technique. It is completely legitimate, completely solid, and completely reliable. This system will take your article, create thousands of variations and then post them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line. But not only that! It only posts your article to sites that want sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So you could write say, three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 300 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 100 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 50 sites a day.

What really IS new is that this already well-established method has now been put on steroids. It combines, for the first time ever, the power of article submission with the benefits of unique content and it does it in such a way that it is simplicity itself to use.

It is worthwhile spending a bit of time investigating this software, if you are seriously trying to sell something on the Internet. It will make your job easier by automating a lot of the problems associated with article submission.

Remember that an organic link on the first page of Google provides about 6 times the traffic of a sponsored (Adsense) link on the same page. Just how much would that be worth to you each month? Now multiply that by, say, a hundred or a thousand and you will begin to appreciate the value of this system!

Are you in Internet marketing? If so, you need to publish articles, so you need to check out this site Internet marketing

The Low-Down On Getting The #1 Google Position

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

If you haven’t automated your article submission, it can only mean one of three things:

1. You simply don’t want or need any additional free traffic to your website,

2. You haven’t seen my previous articles, or

3. You still haven’t been able to realize the power and incredible value of this system. that is, how this will dramatically boost your sales.

If you fall into category 1, then please move on from this article, it doesn’t apply to you.

Otherwise, please take a minute to read this article thoroughly, as it really could mean the difference between success and failure for your Internet business this year. You see, people love to make things complicated, but making money online is actually quite simple. It does not matter whether you are selling your own product, promoting affiliate links, or making money from Adsense or “click flipping”, it all boils down to just two things:

Conversion and Traffic.

Conversion comes first. You need to have an offer that people want. That “offer” might be a product, or it might be an enticing advert (e.g. Google Adsense) that people want to click on. And you need some kind of presentation (such as a sales letter) that encourages them to take the action that you want them to take (eg buy the product or click on the advert).

In many ways this is the easiest part. Most people can put together a half decent website or sales letter that will make at least some money from their visitors.

But then, of course, you need visitors. Busfuls of them. The more people that you can get to come to your site, the more money you will make; especially if those visitors re highly targeted. But, given the number of websites online: all competing for the same visitors, just how do you get more visitors to your site?

Well, there are just three ways that visitors come to your site:

1. Visitors type your address straight into their browser. That results from some sort of off-line promotion: it may be your business card, a radio advert, an article in a magazine or a conversation with a friend.

2. People click on a link. The hyperlink may be in an email they received (eg from a friend or from an ezine they subscribed to) or it may be on another website they have visited.

3. Or they do a search in a search engine, see your website in the listings, and click on the link to visit you.

And that is it, period. There are no other ways for them to get to your website.

So, if we know that, how do we get more traffic? Easy:

1. Advertise your Internet presence in all your offline promotional materials.

2. Get lots of people to put links to you on their website, and lots of people to send out emails with your links in them.

3. Get a top position in the search engines.

Yes.., sounds simple doesn’t it, but maybe it is not so easy in practice? Just how do you achieve steps 2 and 3 without spending bucketsful of cash or getting your site banned by the search engines?

To understand this, we need to understand how the search engines work. Again, it is much simpler than people make out.

All search engines want lots of people to use them. In order to achieve that, they try to deliver relevant and up-to-date content to people who do a search on them. But how do they determine what is relevant to the search?

There are only two ways they can do that:

1. They scan your site and, using very sophisticated algorithms, they determine what the subject matter of your website is. They also check how new or old it is, how recently it was updated and so on. These are all known as on-page or on-site factors. You have direct control over many of these factors when you set up your site.

2. They ‘consider’ what other people write about your website. In doing that, they look at two factors: how many people have links to your site (and what those links say) and also how important are the sites that link to your site. An important site of ‘authority’ that points to you is worth more than a whole list of unimportant sites. They also consider how old the links that point to you are, and a number of other factors about the value of the link and the context in which it is used.

At the same time, the search engines are constantly on the look out for websites that attempt to fool them into thinking that they are more relevant or more popular than they actually are. Which is why the so-called ‘black-hat’ techniques quickly lose their effectiveness.

So, to get to the top of the search engines you need to do two things:

1. You can optimize your on-page factors: there is plenty of information on- and off-line it about how to do that. It is not difficult but, on its own, it is also not enough.

2. Get lots of high quality, one-way, relevant links to your website from as many other websites as possible.

How do you get people to link to you?

1. Create a fantastic website so that others just honestly want to tell others about your site.

2. Pay them to link to you – buy a text link, or offer an affiliate program.

3. Exchange links with them – but reciprocal links are clearly not worth as much as one-way links and it is a lot of work to do this effectively.

4. Provide them with fresh, unique content that adds value to their site in return for which they agree to post a link back to you. Loads of sites are constantly looking for fresh, unique content. They get this content by hunting through article directories, or by subscribing to article submission services.

Therefore, if you distribute articles to these directories, your articles will end up on both the directories themselves AND on the niche sites that pick up and use these articles. AND some of these sites are likely to be valuable “authority”-type sites. Of course, whether the article is used and by whom, depends on the quality of your article.

As you can see, this last method is the simplest and most powerful. It gives you hundreds or thousands of one way links, from niche, relevant sites, all for free. All you need is some way to get a different, unique, article to each of those directories and ezine publishers. Which is, of course, what our software does.

But wait! We don’t stop there. The real power behind this method comes when you use it regularly. Preferably at least once a week. Imagine getting 200 to 1800 new permanent one way links every week! By the end of a year, you could easily have 50,000 or more relevant, quality, one-way links to your site! And you can connect the submission process to a timer to put everything on autopilot!

That is the real power of this system’s software and that is why it beats every other traffic generation and SEO system out there.

So , there you have it, unless you don’t have an online presence at all, isn’t it time you harnessed this power for your own business? Click on our link below right now to get the early-bird discount and get a fantastic bunch of bonuses:

A Great Way To Publicize By Using Business Leaflets

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Colour Flyers are actually rising in reputation as an easy way of marketing for most small businesses. One more well-known way of advertising to promotional leaflets can be TV and Airwaves.

The benefits of the leaflet are that you can access most people, all of your business leaflets will go directly on to the doorstep of any possible client. Also, the potential customer may keep hold of the colour leaflets to help them remind themselves or perhaps pass on to associates. Television and Radio stations could at times have a large audience, but how many make a note of the phone number. Getting a few of your own business leaflets from a leaflet printing company can often turn out cheaper than an advertisement in some popular publication, plus your market might often be much bigger! There is zero opposition with other ads when you have your flyer printing carried out, in contrast to when you have an advertisement inserted in a paper.

A drawback to giving out promotional leaflets is often it may cost far more money with the flyer printing services for you to give out colour flyers in an area than it would do to get a radio or TV advertisement executed in the same area. With flyer printing though, you can be a bit more specific and hand them out on only specific roads. Therefore , you really do not need to purchase too much leaflets printing. Often customers point out that funding isnt the difficulty because one can find cheap leaflet printing, the most important downside to colour flyers is that often you never genuinely know if they’ve been handed out by your marketers. You won’t experience this kind of fear with airwaves and Telly because you see if the advert is broadcasted. Once you attain your delivery from the flyer printing services, an absurd means of making sure that they are handed out can be to keep track of the distribution workforce all of the time! This really is an unproductive way of utilizing your time. An effective strategy might be to observe the reaction of your colour leaflets, learn how below.

You’ll need to take a look at three parts when getting along with your flyer designs.

Retain

Have you ever before noticed a leaflet that had been posted to you and tossed it after having a glance? We estimate from examining results by consumers colour leaflets that out of the hundred flyers printed and given out, roughly 97 of them go into the trash can. Giving out colour leaflets is a really numbers game, just a single per-cent difference in the number of them trashed could be the deciding factor in your leaflets printing marketing results. In order to get prospects to hold on to your colour flyers you must stick to two guidelines. Foremost, you must give your promotional flyers value. You do that by adding a discount or price reduction off your services with the colour flyers. A few methods for attaching value to a leaflet might be to add the claims ten % off promotion or absolutely free reward coupon anytime purchase higher than 25. Lastly it’s good to make the special offer instantly obvious with a glance of your flyer designs. Don’t forget, you have about a single second to make an impact on the prospect just before your colour flyers makes its way to the trash. Most people will grow impatient instantly when they are unable to figure out your leaflet printing is about. Make use of the friends test, show it to each of your friends for a second or two and then take it from them and check what exactly they remember.

A good special offer is nice, nonetheless most people can keep on hold of the full colour flyers unless they need to put it to use. Your prospective customer isn’t going to purchase immediately unless of course they have to, so how is it possible to achieve this utilizing colour leaflets? Good examples are: Special offer ends thursday, Expires 24th June, Just 15 to hand out etc.

Stay inside your shop or with the mobile immediately after the business leaflets is given out and add up the volume of enquiries or visitors coming in. Certainly not! Calculating the results using this method from a flyer is worthless. It is advisable to record each flyer which is handed back . People are going to bring them back to your business simply because you have put on the leaflets printing: Offer legitimate only along with production of flyer, Free entry with flyer, 50 % discount along with leaflet, Present Number:34 when ordering online and so forth. If you happen to distribute 5000 flyers and one hundred individuals bring in your full colour flyers that is a response rate of 2 per cent, which is quite good.

In need of a leaflet then use the support on the page on leaflets printing. Should you want to order, check out our superb leaflet discounts
